We've had a bear warning in our neighborhood this past week and today when I was walking the kids home from our friends house Sydney started yelling "mom I see the bear" of course that set Bryce and Leah off and they all started screaming and running towards me, away from the bear. I panicked and immediately told them to run back to our friends house while I rode my bike home and called 911. Steve and I hopped in the car and followed the bear around the neighborhood, to the front of our house where it sat eating acorns for about 1 1/2 hrs. until the animal control services came and took care of it. This bear ended up being very acclimated to humans and didn't care if cars, dogs or people went by and quite a crowd gathered taking pictures. It was really strange, but totally awesome.
We have been to yellowstone 4 times with no bear sightings and
today all we had to do was look out our front window.
this cracks me up! welcome to Wild Florida hahaha you just never know what you will see down here, whether it's a bear in your neighborhood or an 95 year old in a speedo at publix :)
