4 years ago the sweetest little guy entered our life and we are so happy we have him...especially daddy. Those two are the best of friends and really do count on each other for plenty of boy time. Sometimes they get into nerf ball wars right before bed and even though i get frustrated with the timing, (why right before bed?) seeing Bryce's complete happiness and love for his dad makes it all ok. How can I argue with a dad playing with his kids. His sisters love him and beg for his attention, and like I've mentioned before I am completely enamored with this kid and love his hugs and kisses. He has gotten more affectionate lately and I am just soaking it in. I hope it never ends.
Labor started very early in the morn. with him and of course I had gone to bed late that night, which meant no sleep. This is the day I had him.

I had decided to have him natural with no epidural, and I pulled through and did it. I was very determined to go all the way and was proud of myself. I had the greatest nurse who was a great help. She is the reason I survived. I actually pushed him out so fast that his little face was all bruised for a day or two.

I love these little faces... I wish I could go back and just hold all of them one more time at that stage of life.

Bryce got to have grandma "honey", aunt kellie and aunt kylie be here for his b-day celebration. He also had his first friend party this year, and of course breakfast in bed. He pretended to be asleep when we brought it in and then just started giggling. He is so cute.
What do you do at a 4 yr old b-day party??? Well I love that his b-day is around Halloween time, it makes being creative so easy. The kids made skeletons out of dry pasta......
and found spiders around the room to play pin the spider on the web.....

and last but not least, we played pumpkin, pumpkin, witch....
or also known as duck, duck, goose.
The kids came dressed up, and of course the b-day boy refused
to wear his knight costume. Oh well, it was his day.
I don't know why I wait until the last min to do anything, but I do.....
he chose a haunted house b-day cake with headstones
and scary trees, and ghosts coming out of the house.
It was fun to create, and he really liked it, but
It's always hard to dig in when I just completed the stupid thing.
Awww.... Happy birthday to Bryce! Such a cute post, I loved seeing the old pictures of him. I can't believe he is already four!!
ReplyDeleteIt was a great party, thanks again for inviting Ev, he still loves to play witch witch pumpkin. I have tried to talk him into duck duck goose, but he won't have it. Happy B-day again Bryce!
