UTAH: part 1

APRIL 2012
(I am a bit behind)

IT SNOWED!!

We drove all day from our house in Olathe, KS to Orem, UT in 17 hrs.  We left at 10 am and got to Orem at 2 am.  It was super long and not very fun.  The hardest part was the last 4-5 hrs.  We could barely function..... and the next morning we woke up to SNOW!! Crazy weather, but so very exciting and fun for all of us who haven't seen this stuff for a while.  Luckily I had left all of our snow gear at my mom's while living in Florida, so we were totally prepared.  AWESOME!

Coloring Eggs for Easter

Very shy, and occasionally difficult little 2 yr old.

But So Cute!!

We spent 3 weeks in UT and had plenty of time with all of our family.  Steve hadn't been home for about 18 months, so he was especially excited to see these gorgeous gals and the red rock of Southern UT.

Cousin Tasha (the newest highschool graduate) watch out world here she comes...
and dog Jake

We love visiting our cousins Tasha and Haylee they are so great!!
And Aunt Steph and Uncle Lance are great to spoil the kids rotten.
They look forward to their annual sleep over, without
Steve and I there to spoil any fun.

4 Beautiful Blondies

The kids loved riding the 4-wheelers and when no adult could take them out they
were busy pretending to go over huge mountains, big jumps, and very dangerous
terrain, hence Leah's face.  They were being so silly screaming and pretending to go so fast.

Katelyn thought she needed a black eye to match her broken arm.  So the day we left Steve's parents house she fell off the front porch and gashed her eye open.  We decided she needed some super glue to hold it together.

BTW that is a carrot in her mouth and she is saying "cheese"
Poor baby!!  Steve and I were mad and sad all at the same time.
It's totally maddening when your children get hurt.  I hate it.

This picture needs to go in the record book for sisterly love.
These two girls sometimes have a hard time getting along
and they very rarely like sleeping together.
So when I found them upstairs all tangled together I figured I'd better get
proof that they really do love each other, and need each other.
They probably would never have believed me otherwise.

And that same night, this is where I found this little guy after taking a picture of the girls.
Strange happenings that night.
