April Fools Day 2012

This year for April Fools Day I decided we'd go all out, and had a couple of pranks up my sleeve.  Steve and I were excited, we love good harmless pranks, and love doing them to our kids.

So the night before I made up some orange flavored jello in a pitcher and it was our "juice" for the morning.

Then after church I whipped up a meat loaf in a circle cake pan, and double decked it. And topped it with mashed potatoes and cheese.  The kids really thought it was a birthday cake.  I whipped the potatoes with the skins still on, so its not as white as it could have been.

We also acquired a fun gag gift from a white elephant party last December from some awesome friends, and were so excited to use it.  (I know we're demented.)  It is fake poop if you can't tell.  The kids had a hay day with that one.  Oh it was too funny!!

Bryce thought it was Katelyn playing in the toilet and Sydney and Leah just kept pointing fingers at Bryce.  When Steve blamed Leah, grabbed it and tossed it to her, she screamed and started crying.

Ooops I guess we took it a little too far.  Sorry Leah!
