The month of MAY

To start our slew of pictures for the month of may we have a lovely
MOTHER'S DAY
breakfast in bed photo.

We celebrated a day early since Sunday mornings are always hectic trying to get the gang ready for church. Steve also headed out for a 3 week long clinical rotation 9 hours away and left on Mother's Day. Let's just say it was a sad Sunday knowing I would be alone for the next 3 weeks. He was gone for most of May and missed Mother's Day and our 9th Anniversary, but was back for my Birthday. (next post)
The kids made me a nice "mom" sign. Holidays really are super with kids.

For school one day we took advantage of the cool weather and went to the park with our friends. The kids found all these cool things and made their own homemade park. With a tire swing, (held up by a hose), and see saw made from light post materials. They thought they were pretty cool and were having a blast until some stuffy adult that ran the place came over and told us to take it all down. REALLY, can't we just have a little home made fun.

Little monkey up in the tree...

While dad was gone we girls went out for a little fun. I got a babysitter for the youngest two and we took some time out for us to go to dinner and see the BYU Young Ambassadors perform here at a local High school. The girls were in heaven with all the dancing, singing, and beautiful costumes. It was a fun evening "Just the GIRLS"

Bryce and his bestest buddy Everett. They love love love TRAINS.

Happy Anniversary!! 9 yrs WOW!!
Steve was amazing and sent me 2 dozen roses while he was gone. He is simply the best!! He is just perfect for me, and I can't imagine my life without him. He is the only one who knows exactly what I need when I need it. He is my everything and I love that we can still spend so much time together and it is never enough. We could hang out forever and still want more. That's when I knew He was the right one for me, because I never got tired of being around him. I loved the roses, but would've chosen him to be here with me instead. I love our life together and love our 4 children that have come into our lives as well. It definitely is challenging but brings me deep joy.

The girls thought they should also get a rose of their own and
a vase to hold it in...so I complied.

Trying to BEAT the HEAT and playing at the Mall's covered playground. There really are very few children here. If we were still in UT it would be crawling with kids, but we were the only people there. (Everyone puts their kids in camps all summer because they work)

Oh me oh my...
She has become quite the handful. Still not sitting down to eat.
I'm starting to wonder if I should worry.

We love the RAIN STORMS here... When it rains everyday at exactly the same time you just have to go and play in it.

Memorial Day Weekend... Spent some time thinking about our loved ones while playing at the beach, and YIPPEE our dad came home to us. Katelyn was a little nervous at first, but as you can tell she fell in love again very quickly.

We really are going to miss this place!!
So for now... we will try to soak it up while we can.
