WE SURVIVED........

GRADUATION 2012

February 12, 2012
has now become one of the best days in our lives!!
Right up there with our wedding day, and the births of each child.

Steve and I have been looking forward to this day since Spring of 2005 when he decided to become a CRNA. Tears of joy, and gratitude over came me during the ceremony, that our long, seemingly never ending journey of school days were finally coming to an end.

We have been incredibly blessed through out our 9 years of marriage. I remember having a conversation with steve after we got married, within the first month I think. We talked about how school was going to take around 7 years. He wanted to become a Pharmacist back then, I was scared, but I knew we could do it. I felt completely calm about that daunting task because Steve was by my side. And never once have I felt like we weren't going to make it...... (ok I did feel like I was going to go crazy that last month of school) .....but I always knew we could make it to the end. And here we are 9 yrs later. (We had a little hiccup in there with changing of degrees) But all in all we are 100 % stronger for enduring all the years of struggle.

IT WAS A GOOD DAY!!
Complete closure for such an intense program.

COMPLETE AND UDDER HAPPINESS on the verge of GIDDINESS

9 yrs and 4 kids later......
here we are at our last graduation until
Sydney graduates in 9 yrs. (holy cow)

Steve's dear sister Stephanie and Mom (Jane) came for a visit and to celebrate Steve's huge accomplishment. (Steve's dad has just finished up radiation for Prostate cancer and wasn't feeling up to the trip, or else he would've been here too.)

I LOVE THIS GUY!!
and am incredibly proud

Steve surrounded by our "favorite blessings"

Steph, Steve, and Mom

We definitely couldn't have done it without our huge support group of ward friends and other student families. They were our life line while trudging through this program. We kept each other sane, while our husbands were MIA.

Natalie Lancaster and Lisa Brower

These are some of steve's closest comrades Aaron Lancaster, Ryan Wojniki, and Chris Brower.

More friends: Steve, Trevor, Aaron

Bryce was sure proud of his Daddy.
They are glad to have each other amongst the gaggle of girls around them.
WAHOOOOOO!!
*SIGH*
Finished at last!

Now begins another JOURNEY!!

Being a "single" Mom through all of this was probably just as hard on you as it was on Steve. I look up to you and admire you! Congrats! And good luck with your next big adventure in life!
