Our New Year.......Off to a GREAT start!!

Yes even in Florida we get colder weather, and it is so fun to bundle up, knowing the next day might be 80 degrees again. We have really come to love it here and I'm not quite sure how we are going to handle real seasons again.

We babysat some of our friends Sophie and Everett. The two youngest have such a good time with their buds. It was like having two sets of twins, I was very busy, but they each had a lot of fun.

We are really going to miss this little guy!! Bryce and Ev just "get" each other. I wish we could take him with us.

Sydney and Leah entered the books they wrote into the Author's Fair and were able to walk in the Author's Parade at school. This is Leah's good friend at school Ansley. Little girls are so cute, holding hands.

IT'S BIRTHDAY TIME:

Our Sydney girl turned 9!! My how fast time flies......She has celebrated 3 b-days here, I just can't believe it. She is our best oldest child, and we couldn't ask for a better older sister for the others. She is obedient, kind, silly, fun, talented, and very very beautiful.

Steve took his last tests ever at Wolford College, and then it was PARTY TIME!! We celebrated Steve's accomplishments and Syd's b-day. We just had a small intimate family party. She decided to open gifts first. This is her loot.

Later we ate at Red Robin, because Sydney LOVES hamburgers and then drove to Naples Pier and let the kids walk the pier and play in the sand. They have never been all the way out to the end of the pier and we thought they would like it. (they did)

We came home, sang and ate scrumptious birthday cake.
