Disney Bliss Day 1

We drove up to the north eastern side of the state to visit some of our most wonderful friends the Brouse family!! We met them while living in Cedar City, going to Nursing school. When they moved away to Arkansas we thought we'd never see them again. And here we are both in the same state of sunny FL. Crazy where life will take you. They have 4 girls and we have 3 so Bryce was a bit out numbered. He didn't seem to mind, and I'm sure he'll love it in about 12 yrs when they are all beautiful young women. :)

This is their back yard which was such a nice change from our pad of cement.

Abbie and Sydney are BFF.

Bryce just had to whack something. I'm glad it was a tree and not some cute little girl.

This little one just loved the outdoors... she is a true floridian and hates to have her shoes on, every time the kids came inside their feet were BLACK!!

Here's the gang minus a few.

After our stay with our friends we ventured on over to Orlando for 3 days of awesomeness at the Disney parks.....we arrived at our condo and had to break in the beds by jumping on them.

We just had to.....It's Tradition!

Sydney takes her first flight....

Sydney from behind :)

Bryce taking a dive....

Soaring through the air...
didn't you want to fly when you were a kid?
I did!!!

Leah from behind

Leah really got into it as you can see. She had some shrill scream that went along with that face.

Flying can be exhausting...ready for beddy-bye

As we drove under the Disney World arch to enter all of the parks Sydney said, "I just can't stop smiling." They were very excited to say the least.

Buzz Lightyear was our first character of the day and Bryce was so excited...Look at the giant hug he gave him.

Katelyn was a little concerned with this big dude.

If you are wondering who that cute girl is with Steve and the kids... well she is an angel that we had the opportunity of hanging out with for 3 days. Her name is Kali and she is my little brother's friend that I knew was out here working in Orlando with Disney for a semester. She totally hooked us up and saved us around $400.00 on our trip. It wasn't just the money that saved us, it was awesome having an extra adult around to help with the little ones. She was such a blessing and the kids loved her.

Katelyn loved Cinderella's Carousel!! It was her favorite, so Steve being the awesome dad that he is, took her twice on it while the other kids went on something else. Now that's love right there.

Trying to pull the sword from the stone.

Kali and Sydney were little riding buddies, luckily Kali came along or Sydney probably would've had to ride alone on a bunch of rides.

Stitch was a favorite of the kids...very much in character, even "licking" and "slobbering" on the paper he autographed.

Our time at Magic kingdom was so fantastic and we of course had to stay for their great firework display and little production they put on at the end. They put up pictures from the day projected on the castle and every kid is just hoping they see their face up there. It started raining around 4 pm and we weren't prepared for rain. At first we tried to tough it out, but after an hr of being drenched and cold we decided to give in and buy ponchos from the park. $36.00 later we had 7 ponchos, and that was even with 40% off with Kali's discount. Yikes!! We brought them to the next parks just in case and of course we never had to use them again.

Here we are, all mesmerized by the fireworks. We were so exhausted I had to rub all of the kiddos feet before bed and my own because they hurt so bad.

It was quite spectacular and so magical!! They have a good way of making you feel like your dreams really do come true all because of disney. :)

I loved this one with all of the Christmas lights on Cinderella's castle. It looks like it's frosted

Kind of spooky huh.

So we were dragging our tired bodies almost out of the gates when we see the theater where the princesses are.....oh what do we do? We are so exhausted but the girls want to see them.....so of course we wait another 30 min in another line to see the beautiful princesses and they did not disappoint. It was icing on the cake.

I will say this....they were a little strange. Cute but very strange...I'm not sure what is was but they all were a little awkward.

We also stopped and saw Minnie and Mickey which is my personal favorite

Mickey Mouse loved Sydney's new Minnie doll

We had such a wonderful, but tiring day. We went to bed thinking "Oh no! We have to do this again for 2 more days." But after a good nights rest we were ready for more. Bring it on!!

  2. So fun! If you really want one, I can ship it to you. Or I am headed to Utah at the end of the month and can drop one off at your parents house. Are you moving anywhere yet? Just email me what you want (color, which direction) and where you want it and I will get it to you?
