Our Travels This Summer Part 2:

Sooo frustrating!!!
I just typed up a long post to go with these pictures, our internet crashed, it didn't save the post, so now I will just shorten and paraphrase. I'm sure you all don't care so, on with life.

We spent a week in St. George playing with family....it was so fun to get together with everyone. We had one GIANT BIRTHDAY PARTY for all of the grandkids, visited this monument of one of our Great Grandmothers, and learned what an amazing heritage we have... went to historical pioneer sights and even ate almonds and figs right off the trees. Swam, watched movies and really enjoyed being together, minus Steve. We, meaning I, missed him so much. I will never go away with all of the kids alone without him. NO FUN!!

Relay Race for the party....put on goggles, and life jacket, then run with swim noodle between legs. It was really quite funny....

BOATING is always a blast, even with some rainy weather we had such a good time.

Bryce was very serious about driving the boat....just a bad picture too, I think he had a candy in his mouth.

Despite the weather, the water was soooo beautiful and warm. After living out here, where we don't get near a body of water for fear of snakes, and alligators, it was hard to explain to the kids that there were no gators that would get us in the lake.

Because of the wind it made for crappy skiing but awesome tubing. Dad sent us on a nice white knuckle ride.

My brother took turns skiing with the kids. They loved it, but of course I didn't have the camera on my kids turn.

Making friends with the locals.....

The splash pad in town was so great and it was a perfect day.

The kids did so great being away from their own beds and familiarity of home. I love my kids and are very proud of the people they are becoming.
