Happy 4th of JULY!!
I'm so very grateful for our freedoms and our land of opportunity. We are so blessed to live in America. Land of the Free, Home of the Brave!! We had a great time celebrating our country's Independence.
The kids and I went swimming (of course). It's what we do almost everyday. I didn't get any pictures of that. Then Sat. night we had a ward party and watched the city fireworks from the church parking lot. It was very rainy and we wondered if the fireworks were even going to happen. After sitting in the rain for over an hour we finally got to see them. We watched from the back of the Durango to stay dry.
Here is our little American Beauty
She is all smiles lately...
They had fun competing in the primary's pie eating contest.
She did a great job at keeping her face fairly clean, while stuffing her face with pie. What fun.
Staying dry in the Durango with friends...Becca, Leah, Bryce, and Jack.
This is what Baby did all 4th of July...didn't even wake for the fireworks
Beautiful Baby Katelyn's Blessing Day
We blessed our sweet daughter on Sunday July 4th, with the help of our Florida friends and ward. We missed sharing it with family, but everyone out here is like family to us now. They are all so wonderful. She wore the same dress that Sydney and Leah wore. We've definitely gotten good use of it. She just had her 2 mo appt. and weighs 10 lbs and is 21 1/2 in. Still so small, but turning into a much more pleasant baby. YEA!!!
We love you Sweet Baby!!
Kandie, She is so beautiful. I love the blessing dress - it is gorgeous! I'm sorry we missed her blessing. That's neat that you blessed her on the 4th of July - always a day to remember!

ReplyDeleteYour family is so cute! And of course you look amazing! Glad you are enjoying Florida! I think its good to be away from family for a little while. It forces you to look to others for help and support and you make really great friends because of it! Hopefully we get to see again sometime soon! Let me know if you need anything from Nebraska! Missy lives in Alabama so if you are ever in that area let me know and I can hook you up!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comment on my blog! It took us a year to decide which homeschooling method we wanted to use, but we have been SO glad that we chose TJEd! I just want to offer you all the encouragement in the world! It's definitely not easy to do, but we have been SO happy doing it! Here's hoping we can get through the "5 year old stages"! :0) Thank heaven we are not in this alone. Heavenly Father is so mindful of each of our journeys through life! Hugs to you! :d)
