Our New Home Away From Home!!

I finally have a few minutes to post some pics, and tell a little about our new place, and our trip here. The house we had planned on living in when we got here was not to our liking, so my awesome husband and Dad went to work finding a new place. Heavenly Father definitely had a hand in all of this, because just two days prior a beautiful, clean condo in the same area just happened to open up and we snagged it. Everything fell into place just perfectly. I am so glad the kids and I weren't there to complicate things. My mom, me and the kids flew out on the red eye (never do that again) 3 days later. The kids did so well for not sleeping the ENTIRE TIME. (little buddy did have a 1 hour nap, and little Leah slept for 20 min. ) Me and my Mom were exhausted. We left at 1 am and arrived in Florida at 10 am, we did have a 2 hour layover in Atlanta. My mom was a lifesaver, I couldn't have done it without her. I couldn't have asked for a better person to travel with 3 kids. She had so much patience and endurance. I was amazed at her energy. I love my mom and all the help she gave me. It was nice because the kids wanted to sit on Honey's (what they call my mom) lap more than mine. :) The day we arrived we were pretty much walking zombies, I couldn't function at all. We all slept that afternoon for about 4 hours, after the excitement wore off.
I was so pleased with all the hard work my hubby and my Dad did without us. Confronting landlords about refunding money, driving a huge moving truck across the country, sleeping in dirty hotels, picking a cute house to live in, (hoping for a wife's approval), and hauling all of our junk in the house. Every single one of these things is something I hope they never have to do again. They were my supermen. Two men I love the most. My best friend and my Dad.

I couldn't be happier about our housing arrangement. We live in a cute 3 bed 3 bath condo, in a little gated community with some of our other friends from Utah, also in the program. We have a nice little community pool and gym. The kids, namely Sydney, want to swim just about every day. The beach is about 15 min. away and we love that too. It is beautiful here, so green and tropical. It was quite hot and humid when we arrived but everyone kept reassuring me the humidity will go away as "winter" comes, it feels better already. It's hard for me to believe that Fall is in full swing in Utah. I've seen pictures of Utah lately and I miss all the beautifully colored leaves and the chill in the air. It has definitely made me homesick for the familiarity of Utah and our family, and friends. We are still very happy to be here and have my hubby be moving on with his career. Well I'm being cut short by family needs. I will post pics tonight.
