Our June was packed with fun!

Happy Birthday to me!
Sydney made my cakes all by herself, and then we had homemade strawberry ice-cream with the ice-cream maker I got for my birthday.  Yummmm...

Steve took Sydney on a special little fishing outing just the two of them, and taught her how to fly fish. They were both very excited!!

You can never go too far without finding a turtle around these parts.  And for some reason Steve and the kids think we need to take every single one home.  Gross.  They are kind of cute to look at but not live at my house.

Asparagus picking.....
I had no idea asparagus was so good raw.  I've always loved it cooked, but I think we now prefer it raw.  I had never seen an asparagus plant before, so this was a new fun experience for me.  See all those shoots behind the kids.  Those are the actual asparagus plants that have sprouted, so we went around trying to find young asparagus that had not sprouted yet, close to the ground.

Hmmm not sure if i like this.....

....yep, I guess it's ok.

Wonderscope Children's Museum was so fun.  We easily spent the day there and would like to go back sometime.  The kids never stopped to even think about anything else, too much to see and do.

The kids pretending to be doctors, they could choose between baby doctors or animal docs.   I think they all are born naturals, and it was so cute to see them in their lab coats with their stethoscope.  This was their favorite room!!

The arts and crafts/ recycle room.
Do it yourself Face Paint.  A child's dream come true!!
(hence the doctor pics with crazy face paint)

The farm/ grocery room.  Seeing how our food goes from the ground to our homes.

One evening a hot air balloon decided to land in the field across from our house.
Sydney was the only one awake and was quite thrilled!

Annual Fishing Derby.  Bryce never disappoints, He is a natural like his Dad.

Water balloon fight!!
