Sometimes we like to just let the kids go to the store and pick out their presents. It's totally fun to let them loose and see what they choose. It was Katelyn's turn and she was in HEAVEN!!
So of course it was princess, specifically, "Tangled" all the way. She is probably our girliest girl, and definitely our princess lover. She is such a happy girl and a great sister. She loves to play dress up, polly pockets, barbie, house, or read books. She plays great alone which is so helpful to me, but loves to be snuggled and read too. She loves bringing toys everywhere we go and can be seen with a princess in each hand. I was probably too strict with the older kids about bringing toys with us on errands, but now what ever can keep them happy and content on errands I give in. :)
She is such a joy and we love her to pieces!!
It was going to be a Tangled barbie cake like Leah's 8th b-day but we ran out of time. So we had to settle for a couple of hills ..... She was happy, so I was happy!
Breakfast in bed.... a must for the kids.

I still wrapped the presents because it is so fun to rip off paper and see what is inside.
happy belated birthday katelyn!!! her smile is adorable and contagious- i cant help but smile when i see it :) we scrolled through these with the kids and they kept saying how much they miss all of you. hopefully we'll see you soon! oh, and ellie saw the picture of bryce (the one where he dressed himself) and she said, quite loudly, "awwwww, bryce is so cute! i miss him so bad!"
