Crazy hair day!

The girls were great sports about crazy hair day at school.  I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have let my mom do anything out of the ordinary when I was that age for fear of drawing extra attention to myself.  Leah was a little unsure of herself with a few tears right before leaving, but we convinced her she was "cool".  

Bryce has been begging to go coyote hunting with Steve, so one day Steve surprised him with his very own camo.  OH BOY! He lived in that jumpsuit for days.  

This is our Sydney girl in action.  She has improved a lot since the beginning of the school year.  We are proud of her for even trying.  She would prefer a stage to perform on, but the field grew on her.  She has grown several inches this year, and getting very tall.  She reminds me just about every night, she is as tall as me.  (Not even close)

 Lastly, something no mother wants to hear................

"Mom I have a lego up my nose"------Katelyn 2yrs old.

I thought she was kidding at first because I couldn't see anything...........but what 2 yr old would kid about that.   I shone a flashlight up there and yep there it was.  I debated the ER, and quickly chose otherwise.   I'm a mom right?? I can handle this........

She sat very still, (bless her heart), a couple tries with the tweezers and Voila!! 

Gooey little black lego was recovered.  We had a good talk about what should and should not go in the nose.  :) I love being a mom.....some of the most random conversations.
