Sunshine's birthday cakeAfter Christmas we jump right into the birthdays at our house. It's a little crazy around here. In two months we have sung "Happy Birthday" at least 10 times. We love it, and try to make the most of it. This year was the year for parties with friends ( we only do it every other year ) phew... I'd go crazy trying to keep up every year. We had a blast at both parties and hope the girls did too.
Sunshine wanted a monkey birthday cake, so if you can't tell, it's a monkey. I tried my best, and she seemed to like it, so all is well.
I can't believe my baby is 6 years old, and my other baby is 4. Where has the precious time gone. That's why I'm truly trying my hardest to take in every moment with them, and have Joy in the Journey.
Hi Kandis! I think you did a great job on the monkey cake! Birthdays are so much fun! We missed you at book club - hope you had fun while you were out of town. Sorry to hear of your Grandmother's passing. We lost Trent's Grandpa at the beginning of February. It's hard to lose loved ones. But, we know he is so happy to be with Grandma again! Hopefully the weather will turn warm soon so we can actually run into you outside! We hardly leave the house!

ReplyDeleteSorry about Steve's Grandma. Jared's Grandpa also passed away in January. At least they both lived long full lives and now they are in a better place. See ya soon!
